Cover Your Tracks – After the Fact

One of the easiest ways to cover your tracks is to simply erase your history after you use the computer. Go to the history toolbar (and if you don’t see it on your toolbar, go to “tools”, then “history”) and hit “delete history” or “erase history”. You can choose to erase an entire hour, day, or week’s worth of history, or you can erase just one search. For a most thorough cleansing, empty the cache as well.
